I will post what another NFL fan posted elsewhere:
" Let Ray Rice, A.P. , Hernandez , Ray Carruth, Art Schlister, Ben Roethlisberger, Ray Lewis, Michael Vick, Josh Gordon and others start their own National Felons League. Only the posers and hoodlums would attend, and attending by sneaking in a stadium, not paying. Then the playerd' cheques would bounce. Then they can all party, pilfer, and plunder for the rest of their pitiful lives."
Yes that fan is angry, but is he right?
A.P. should be kicked out immediately for what he did to a small 4 year old defenseless child. A lot of people forgot his 2 year old was brutally murdered by the mother's ignorant boyfriend. Yes that cruel man is in jail but that cannot ever bring back the poor child.
There is no bigger NFL nut than me. But the lines need to be drawn and respected.
Goodall too. Risking his $44 million a year job for the hypocritical Owners, who are willing to put up with the player's misconduct?
I MIGHT have some sympathy for Josh Gordon; he did not harm anyone else other than himself. Gordon is young, though no real excuse, Gordon might be able to be salvaged.
Ray Lewis? VERY VERY strong evidence that he only KNEW who stabbed the two men on the alley fight that bad night in Atlanta. Lewis was unfairly slammed with that Obstruction of Justice, because Lewis was not willing to risk his LIFE then career to name names.
The others?
My personal extreme dislike of any player? Vick. Then Carruth, then Hernandez. They killed. End of story. Debate all you want, at the day, the NFL has its work cut out.
