Not only do gamblers have to lay 11 to 10 which automatically starts us off with a disadvantage, we have to suffer through the epic ups and downs of the games we gamble on which for the most part is decided by who turns the ball over less, something that can be as inconsistent as my eating habits.
I'm not one to make excuses but the game has been tampered to the point it might even become unwatchable. How many of you actually watched the game from start to finish last night? I'm guessing not many and if you were watching you probably stopped right after this....
It was only a 10-6 Baltimore lead when on their 2nd drive of the 3rd quarter on a 2nd down in the red zone, Steelers Mike Mitchell was called for one of the most absurd unnecessary roughness penalties of all time. Instead of a 3rd down with Steelers needing only 1 more stop which would have brought out the field goal unit and more than likely a 13-6 game, Baltimore ends up getting a fresh set of downs and O.Daniels scores.
These are moments you can't handicap. Who knows how the game would have turned out if Baltimore wound up only getting 3 instead of 7 making it 13-6 instead of 17-6 in the 3rd.
Steeler fans, your team isn't as bad as the final score from last night suggests, it's just the NFL is f'd up now and that's why gamblers should worry.
