I am my own source. It's not a run when you do it over and over again with consistency and a mentality that you've done it before.

In nearly "5" years at pregame, if you COMBINED every SPORT SEASON together, i have turned a strong profit in EVERY SINGLE SPORT EXCEPT BASEBALL. Of all the things i've done here at pregame, this is EASILY what i'm most proud of. That's LONG TERM WINNING.

Pretty excited to be hosting this game today. Should be a great game here. The Falcons are coming off the huge blowout win against the 49ers, as well as the win against the Bears, and are rolling right along at 4-1. The Falcons only loss thus far has been on the road against the Patriots.  They are also a sweet 4-1 ATS as well. I personally feel this team has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs this year. Matt Ryan has more experience under his belt, and this offense has plenty of firepower. What's better about this team thought this year is their defense. Three of their five games thus far, the defense has held their opponent to 14 points or fewer. Only against the Patriots has this defense given up more than 20 points.

The Cowboys need to win this game in a big way. They are coming off their bye week, so they will look to play really well here. I suspect they will be really fired up to start this game, and will look to strike early against the Falcons. Keep in mind, this is  the first home game this month for the Cowboys, as they've been on the road their past two games.  No doubt this team is feeling the heat, and they need to find a way to win this game. But can they??

Interesting line movement here for this game. Some pretty heavy action on the Falcons, yet this line keeps moving in favor of the Cowboys. This line opened with the Cowboys -3, but is now up to -5 and -5.5.  Tough game to bet on in my opinion, and because of that, i stayed away from this game.

the total for this game opened at 47, and is now widely found at 48.5 currently.  This game could turn out to be a track meet, as both teams have plenty of offensive firepower. But again, don't sleep on this Falcons defense, as they are an improving unit. Also, off the bye, you know the Cowboys have put some focus on stopping this Falcons attack. Again, i don't see much value here in this line, and will simply wait till the half before making any possible wagers.

As a fan of the game though, this is a BIG GAME. So of course, i'll be watching closely.

looking around the league, i see some pretty large favorites, covering some pretty big numbers. Crazy this year how this seems to be a common theme. You know by now, that oddsmakers have even bumped up their opening lines a bit to adjust, but still can't do anything about it.

The Patriots, Colts, and Packers are dominating right now. As we speak, 5 of the 6 favorites are covering, with only the STEELERS not currently covering......

What will the late games show us??????

and just like that, the Steelers are now covering as well. Currently, all 6 favorites are covering.......

and just like that, the Vikings answer.......

Also, the 49ers are storming back against the Texans. Huge 2nd half for them, and i can only imagine what Coach Samurai did in that locker room to get his guys motivated.

Dissapointing for me personally, because i have the TEXANS -3.  For them to allow ALEX SMITH to bring this team back is dissapointing....

Atlanta has won the toss, and has elected to start with the ball.

How will Ryan and this offense start?? You know the crowd is going to be fired up, since they haven't seen a home game this month!

of the early games, NOT ONE underdog covered..........

Only the 49ers were able to earn a push.......Great 2nd half for them. Alex Smith really played well.
