Super 75- A Pregame.com Contest (Need Feedback!!!)

We are looking to find out the "best of the best" in 2008-09 by doing BOTH a NFL and College Football Contest - awarding EACH winner $1000 in CASH!

Then, we will take the Bowls and NFL Playoffs and have a "Grand Champion Tournament" for an additional $1000! You heard right, a total of $3000 in cash from Pregame.com.

What I need from you is 72 hours of ideas, suggestions and questions before we start this Thursday with the CFB contest. Here are the details:

These contest has no official join deadline and can be entered at ANY POINT DURING THE SEASON. Please note, all 75 selections are required to be eligible for any prizes.

Each contest will begin with the 1st game of the regular season:
CFB contest begins Aug 28th
NFL contest begins Sept 4th

Both contests (NFL and CFB) are completed at the end of the NFL regular season (DEC 28th). So, any CFB bowl games before 12/28/08 are eligible in the CFB contest.

3) The winner of each of the two contests will receive $1000.00 in cash from Pregame.com ($1000 to the NFL Champ; $1000 to the CFB Champ). 

4) The winner of each contest along with each sub-contest (details below) will be entered into the Super 75 Championship, which will award $1000.00 to the winner. This THIRD contest will begin after Dec 28th and include CFB Bowls, NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl.

5) Game sides and totals are eligible. No props, moneylines, or other exotic bets. Best line at the time of the selection must come from a Pregame Action endorsed book: http://www.pregame.com/EN/main/sports-betting-lines-odds/check-best-lines.html

6) No minimum or maximium on selections per day/week. But you must make a total of 75 picks throughout the contest.

7) Scoring as of follows: Win- 1 point, Loss- 0 point, Push- 1/2 point.

 8) ANY EDITING OF A POST, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC DQ. NO EXCEPTIONS. OUR BACKEND TRACKS EDITS. SO PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. WE WILL CHECK THE SERVER AND FORUM'S BACKEND FOR ANY EDITING OR CHANGES.

 9) The contests are self moderating and each post MUST follow this format (seperately for the NFL and CFB contest):

10) NFL Super 75 Winner is simply the picker with the best overall NFL record ($1000 cash)
CFB Super 75 Winner is simply the picker with the best college football overall record ($1000 cash)
Entries into the third contest, starting after the other two are complete, will come from:

Best CFB Dogs Record
Best NFL Favorites Record

Worst NFL Record

So, results of the NFL regular season contest and the CFB regular season contest will award 12 pickers entry into the post season Grand Champion contest.

Three contests - Three seperate $1000 CASH prizes ($3000 total)!

3) Post-Season Grand Champion

My goal in creating this contest was award the forum posters who end up with the record BUT keep everyone involved the whole season. Say a guy has no chance to win the CFB contest but is stone cold nuts in totals. He will now have a chance in the Grand Champion portion to still win a $1000.

Just to clarify-   There will be a total of 75 selections  in CFB   AND  a total of 75 in NFL,   correct?

 The contests are separate,  not 75 picks combined between the two.   

It took me a couple times to read it before I understood it, but I finally got it! Sounds good to me!

Correct. It is confusing because I am going over THREE contests in one post. So essentially: NFL Contest w/ a $1000 winner, 75 picks required CFB Contest w/ a $1000 winner, 75 picks required Grand Championship w/ a $1000 winner These are not betting accounts but cash from Pregame!

Sounds like fun, and its another great way to keep track of who the hot and cold cappers are at Pregame.  Look forward to participating...

Remember, honest results in regards to self-moderating only matter if the person wins. Cheating and losing has no gain.
