Yeah,  I like to mix it up. I usually make an "instincts" play every week. A game where I feel like one team is just going to come out very motivated and focused, and I almost disregard the line as long as it isn't anything ridiculous(and lets be honest, without the benefit of hind-sight - there's no such thing as a ridiculous number in the NFL)

I'm not sold on Manning either, and I cashed on Oakland last week so I'm not just thinking "Oakland sucks, lets lay some chalk". I really feel that defense at home + Peyton with another week under his belt with the offense is just what the doctor ordered against an Oakland team that might have "blown their wad" last week in a physical one against the Steelers.

I don't follow anyone's picks here really, although I enjoy reading them. The first year I was a member here( and also an idiot in terms of betting) I would cherry-pick a lot of forum members picks to supplement mine because I lacked confidence and it was an expensive lesson on what not to do.

I don't even bet my PG Hilton picks for the most part, too much volume.(although so far this year I'm wishing I did!). I usually make basic plays(sometimes 2 side plays but usually a side and a total), and then I throw in a teaser - which I really love in the NFL.

You're right under me(tied, but still technically UNDER me TD) in the Pregame Hilton. That's what you get for going against my strongest lean of the week and taking the Raiders =P !!! Good luck this week - much more confident on this card , though 3-2 wasn't TURRABLE....

It only took the largest come back in the nfl but Team Toofdoc got us a fatass  5-0 in the Supercontest!  This one and the Seattle "catch" against GB will loom large in the final standings!

I also jumped into the LVH Supercontest this year (for the first time) and am having a great time with it.  I am playing under the names D. Wickliffe #1 & #2.  I have been lucky so far, 9-6 & 10-5 but I really have no confidence in this weeks card.  I am trying not to use the same games on both entries so finding 10 games I like each week is getting very difficult.  

I too am getting consumed with the contest.  It is so much fun.  I am just hoping one of my entries is doing good late into the season so I still have a rooting interest in the contest for most of the season.

One week to go and my damn partner goes on vacation for the final week of the contest.  He was the one of us that did the lions share of the work and he decides to break from his routine for the final freaking week?  I'm going to pull the ears off that damn Mouse if his World cost my world money!

Wow, your partner must be doing pretty well financially to possibly affect the outcome at this stage of the competition. You guys have been making some damn good picks. Hopefully, you can continue with the good selections (however you manage that). BOL and keep the faith.

I'm just messing with him because he will read it and I know his week at Disney will be spent without sleep because he will be obsessed with football at night after walking his ass off in the parks all day. My boy is going to age 10 years this week!
