Hey deliveryman....why don't you start a PAYPAL account and we can send $20 up front so that we can verify who are the contenders from the pretenders?  I know that $20 isn't much and anyone who is a regular @ Pregame can/should be counted on but it would make it more legit.  Hope to get over 50% this year!!!

I think Deliveryman has taken on enough responsibility without being responsible for the entry fees, too. Make no mistake, if I win I will "out" EVERY entrant that does not pay up in a timely fashion (say, one week). I left another private forum for just that reason, so I know it does happen.

Seeing as we are seeking transparency and strive to have the highest quality (read- honorable) membership, perhaps Pregame would be willing to ban the "deadbeats"?

considered taking fees upfront but some people may be uncomfortable doing that  (understandable)  and if tragedy shud strike and I die between now and Jan then the winner would be screwed,lol.....thats main reason I asked people to only enter if they are willing to send the 20 or 10 at the end to the winner. many people who entered in previous yrs have not entered so far (for whatever reason and thats fine).

We are close to 50 entries  and  fully expect everyone who entered to be honest and do the  right thing since I stressed that in the  initial post. anyone can withdraw before season starts if they change their mind.

doesn't look like PG is fielding a Hilton team so wsdeejay loses out since he won last yr  and I have not recd  reply that it would be done for this yrs winner. with that said I would like the winner to get something , makes it more fun and interesting so I decided if those that  did enter would send 10 or 20  to winner (amount based on nbr of entries) then the winner could pocket  somewhere in 500-1000 range and nice return for entry fee.

for those that entered ,if they dont pay up then Im sure we will do our best to shame them,lol

works out to about a dollar a week (pretty damn cheap)  so you have to be pretty low to enter and skip out on paying the winner.

if goes well this yr I would like to have higher entry fee but not sure how many would be agreeable but we can cross that bridge later.

it would of been nice for Johnny Detroit to respond to our email's telling us they weren't putting together a team this year. instead of giving us the cold shoulder, thought they were more professional than that.
