Same reason Chick-fil-A sold 10 times more chicken yesterday, The man is a winner and is open about his beliefs.  I think what "we" are really tired of is our "heros" being thugs, drug users, or sending dick pics.  I think we want and need a good person to actually believe in and by all accounts Tebow is who he says he is.

I could not agree with you more about the constant coverage, but if the ratings and interest was not there, they would stop the story. People say the they are tired of the story, but I believe every time they hear it, they can't help themselves and stop to listen. The reason? Many people want him to fail, many want him to succeed, many don't care, but they all want to find out if he is succeeding, failing, fading away.

He seems very satisfied with how he lives his life, and appears to take great pride in responsibility for his own actions. As an athlete, and as a role model. What Tim Tebow bring to the table, is he is just a good football player. He is every boy that played tackle football at the park, or dirt field, in their levis and ripped up Joe Namath jersey. He is a throwback. Three yards and a cloud of dust. He just wants to play football for the love of the game. He reminds us of a player out of the twenties, thirties, forties. He just knows how to win, strives to win. You can't take that away from him. That he will give maximum effort towards the goal of winning. In the NFL, he is Rudy. The constant underdog. Maybe for many, he represents them, the underdog in life, just looking for that one opportunity. Maybe not. But we all definitely understand sports ratings. And if the interest wasn't there, there wouldn't be a story. Maybe my comments make me a fan, or a hater, or don't care. But my true point is that I hear many people say they are tired of hearing Tim Tebow, but many aren't honest with themselves. I will believe we are tired of Tim Tebow, when we hear nothing about it......Brian Bosworth style.........

Every night NFL live starts in jets camp, what a shocker lol.  A couple days ago they compared tebow and sanchezes pass completetions under their names when they were on camera, mark was 6/10 tim was 4/6.  Seems a little extreme to me.

mark sanchez is despicable, my mother likes tim tebow!!  Go-go-tebow!!  I would love to see him make everyone eat crow.  Do I think it will happen??  No.  Do I watch ESPN??  Only when sports is on.  Do I listen to sports pundit radio shows??  No.

I have watched a segment with that guy who did MNF for one season, a real bozo.  Where he and some other guy try to outscream each other.  Freakin' horrible.

Between talking heads in sports and politics this time of year, you will find me drinking a frosty bud light underneath my pecan tree.  I do read alot, but honestly don't want to look at some of these mugs yelling out of the tube w/ their senseless dribble.

I am so glad that here in Denver Peyton is our QB and good riddance to Tebow and his religious fanatical followers who have told us that God will punish the Broncos.

Totally agree Spartan. I don't have anything against Tebow, but the attention he garners is ridiculous. Can you imagine if he were actually a good NFL quarterback?

Have no illusions about Tim Tebow.  Faith in God...yes...good guy...yes...HOWEVER his social climb in the media is well planned and thought out by him and his possee.  Football will be short lived for him.....TV is where it is at for him in the future.....and ESPN will have him on staff the minute he leaves football....

He is a very calculating young man..a good guy yes...but he has a master plan and he is playing it perfection....and I DO AGREE - He is a ratings bonanza....
