Here is something to consider for tonight's game:
The Giants are 0-11 OU since October 1999 within 6 of pick at home when facing a divisional opponent for the first time of the season, staying under by an average of 14.1 ppg. The SDQL text is:
team=Giants and H and -6<=line<=6 and DIV and t:season=tP:season+1 and 19991001<=date
Note that NY has allowed a total of 13 points in their last four games in this spot.

Since the start of the 2007 NFL season, the Buccaneers are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their first match-up of the season vs a divisional opponent that swept them last season.
team=Buccaneers and DIV and P:season+1=season and P:L and PP:L and season>=2007
By running this SDQL text yourself, you can see that the Bucs are 5-1 straight up, losing only to the Falcons as a 9' point dog.
Consider the Bucs over the Panthers on Sunday.
Nice hit last night on the big game!

The Dolphins are 1-15 OU since November 2008 on the road vs a non-divisional opponent when the total is at least 40. The SDQL text is:
team=Dolphins and A and NDIV and total>=40 and 20081101<=date
Note that Miami is 0-9 OU in this spot since the start of the 2010 season.
Consider the under in the Miami – Texas game.
9/8/2012
The Panthers are 0-6 ATS in franchise history as a week one favorite, losing five of the six straight up. The SDQL text is:
team=Panthers and week=1 and F
Note that their only straight up win in this situation came when they scored a TD on fourth-and-eleven with 22 seconds left in the game to win 24-23 as a 4 point favorite back in 2003.

The Titans are 11-0 OU in franchise history as a home dog vs a non-divisional opponent when they have another non-divisional opponent next week, as long as the total is at least 37 points. The SDQL text is:
team=Titans and HD and NDIV and n:NDIV and total>=37
Consider the OVER in the Pats - Titans contest.

The Ravens are 6-0 ATS since 2000 over the first four weeks of the season when they host a divisional opponent, as long as they are not laying double-digits. The SDQL is:
team=Ravens and week<=4 and H and DIV and season>=2000 and line>-10
Note that the Ravens have covered by an average of 13.7 ppg.
Thanks for another winner tonight Dr. Ed. This makes four of your Week 1 "Queries" for me bet and cashed. Just starting to dabble with the Query myself by taking your line and changing a few things to see how it works. Thanks again.

Indeed, since Thursday when I started posting SDQL queries that applied to upcoming games they have done very well. The only loser was Tennessee and New England OVER and that one just missed.
I hope to start posting SDQL queries that are active for week 2 tomorrow.
