i know NL, all this happened and came out once he left and went to st. louis,,,,,hmmmm what a coincidence.
I am gonna preface this by saying I don't have an issue with the bounty stuff. It goes on and has since the NFL was formed and will continue to go on. My first initial reaction was WTF so ridiculous that this is the penalty for it. Then looking deeper into the situation you find out that the NFL called the Saints in and said pretty much to knock it off and the Saints told them they did when obviously they didn't. The Saints were warned and told to stop, they didn't, they lied about stopping, and now they are paying a very hefty price. Whether I think its fair is irrelevant. Goodell told them to stop and they didn't and he sent a very strong message.

The Saints deserved what they got, especially that Sean P lied about what was going on to the NFL investigators.
Will be interesting what the suspensions will be for the players. I hope the players who got the cash claimed that income on their Tax Returns now that the word is out.
