I was taught when I was a kid that those who know history well - can predict the future since it all goes in cycles. Then I learned about the Butterfly Effect... And then there were few more things washing my brains with useless information. But, if that was the truth and there was some kind of rational in the past affecting the present (in a sort of a childish justice, or poetic justice, or whatever justice you want to call it - even the divine justice) - then, the Lions should win today and so should the Texans.
I guess some of you do know what I am talking about and the others don't. So, here are the cold facts: the Texans should have won that one in Mexico City back in November 2016. Lasers in the eyes of Osweiler. The refs that absolutely went "blind", Houston HC not challenging the plays he should have etc etc. But, there is no "should" in sports and the Raiders won that game in a hateful way. I think only a few Chicanos and the Raider Nation were happy at the outcome. I personally felt that it was the day NFL received a final notice that it is becoming an obviously biased game for stupid audiences. Now, is it the redemption time for the NFL? Will they add the crime to the sin and will this time make sure the Texans qualify for the next round? And what about cover? Will they cover?
ANd now, let us go to that moment in the Seahawks vs the Lions game when the refs screwed up and let the Seahawks win because of their mistake last season. Do you guys remember that game? It was Monday Night Football. Of course you. You're NFL buffs and if you are reading this - you sure watched almost every snap thrown on any MNF.
So, will the NFL return the favor to the Lions?
