Another factoid: the Titans just lost at home to those same awful Colts.
Division games and Thursday games tend to lean under (I think, don't have the trend numbers but that seems to be the rule of thumb). Also the perception here is "two crappy teams" and of course we've seen several bad primetime TV games ( that have stayed under) and that 6-6 MNF game is fresh in everyone's mind.
So why didn't they set this total closer to 41? It came out at 46 so everyone pounded the Under. Now at 44, we just need 24-21 Or 28-17 to get Over.
But I like the OVER. both teams have some injuries on Defense and both teams/coaches are desperate for divisional win on the national stage.... so it could be a Kitchen Sink game with both teams pulling out all the stops."Thursday fatigue" can lead to teams grinding clock to just get thru the game healthy but it could also lead to sloppy kick return coverage or worn out defenses.
Also, Titnas have been awful ATS at home... Does anyone trust them laying 3.5 to any team??
