The Broncos lost a lot of talent to free agency this off-season, but the song remains the same in the secondary , dubbed "the no fly zone" as the talent there is some of the best in the NFL. Are there any teams that go deeper than this at CB:
1. Aqib Talib
2. Chris Harris Jr
3. Bradley Roby
4. Kayvon Webster
Those are 4 starting CBs in the NFL imo and Roby, the first round pick out of Ohio St. in 2014 may have the talent to become an elite corner in the NFL. The good coverage corners play to the strength of Wade Phillips' pressure defense that retains the games best OLB pass rusher in Von Miller paired with hall of famer Demarcus Ware, albeit in the twilight of his career. There are nice backups to those two with Shane Ray and Shaq Barret bringing the heat as well. The real question mark is on the offensive side of the ball as one would expect improvement on that front in the second year of Gary Kubiak's run oriented system, provided the o-line can stay healthy which did not happen last year. The elephant in the room is at the QB position where the Broncos look to bring a 1 year bridge QB along after drafting Paxton Lynch as their starter of the future. Word out of camp is that Lynch is not being put on the fast track and that it's Sanchez job to lose, but he is being pressured by Trevor Siemian, a 7th round draft pick out of Northwestern in 2015.
