Yesterday t was announced that the NFL will upheld their decision to suspend Patriots QB Tom Brady.
Since then the NFL has field suit to have the case heard in New York, while the NFLPA wanted it in Minnesota. This gives the NFL an edge, but still Roger Goodell continues to screw up this case.
Some say that Brady will not win and or will not get an injunction, while others feel that the NFL never wins this cases and that Brady will win. Right now it looks as if it will be either 4 games or zero. There is no in between anymore.
If he is able to get an injunction they the Pats would do well to slow play it so that he doesn't miss a game this year. What fun it would be it Brady and the Pats make it to the Super Bowl and Goodell lead that parade.
Is this the final nail in the coffin for Goodell? Dave and Scott both feel it could be. Kraft has a lot f power among the other owners and he is very unhappy with Goodell right now. Dave doesn't feel it will end well for Goodell and this could very well be his last year.
Tom's agent states that there are plenty of holes in the Wells Report and that the NFL is shifting the focus away from the science of the issue.
The NFL has had a PR nightmare the last couple of seasons and it will only get worse as long as Goodell is there.
The Win Total of the Patriots is 10 and assuming that they go 2-2 in their first 4 games, they will get Brady back after that and he will be fresh and ticked off the rest of the season.
Dave states that a good pick may be to take the Patriots now at -3 over Pittsburgh on that Thursday night game. That wat if Brady plays then you have a good shot at getting the better number and if he doesn't play then you still have a good shot at winning the game.
