Too many people on the UNDER witch is the logical play but...I feel will go OVER 47, just a strong lean.
5* SEATTLE pk
The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks play Sunday night at U of Phoenix Stadium in the Super Bowl.
While the Seattle Seahawks have the advantage of being at the Super Bowl last season, the Patriots have 17 players with championship experience, which includes Tom Brady who has three Super Bowl rings under his belt. Neither team is wet behind the ears when it comes to big game experience, which makes this game intriguing on many levels.
A lot of the early money has been pouring in on the Patriots due to the overall championship pedigree and the coaching advantage with Bill Belichick. Usually when you give a head coach such as Belichick two full weeks to prepare for a team, he’s going to have a ton of wrinkles and a game plan that will get the job done.
I just don’t see how you don’t back the Seattle Seahawks in this spot. Seriously, how many times do we need to see this movie?
The Seahawks defense has beaten every great quarterback the league has produced in the last couple of years. Peyton Manning has lost twice, Aaron Rodgers has lost twice, and Drew Brees has lost twice. Oh, and Tom Brady lost to Seattle back in 2012. It’s like no matter what you throw at this team, they continue to shut guys down and win in dominating fashion.
No matter how much time the Pats have to prepare, they don’t have the offensive weapons to offset the Seahawks defense. Richard Sherman is going to shut down his side of the field, Byron Maxwell matches up well on his guy, and Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots only elite skill position player, will be cancelled out with an athletic freak in Kam Chancellor.
The Pats don’t have anything the Seahawks haven’t seen before and simply don’t have the great players on the outside to challenge Seattle’s all-time secondary. This is one of the best defenses the NFL has ever seen and will once again get the job done.
Don’t believe the hype the Pats are getting. Pour your money on the Seahawks and thank me later.
Good Luck !!!
