That's not true either....see this is what frustrates me so much is that people get these wrong theories in their mind and then other people believe them too. Take the Jets/Patriot game as an example. Larger money and I think intelligent sports bettors began hammering the Jets as an underdog BEFORE Sunday and the line started moving down from +11 to +10.5 and +10, including on Sunday as well, even though the public was on the Pats. HOWEVER, the Ravens point spread only kept going higher and the Texans WERE NOT bet on enough to cause the point spread to have them a lower underdog. The line just kept gradually getting higher, including on Sunday. If large/smart money had made a move on them, then the Texans would have been a lower dog, just like with the Jets, Vikings, etc today.
