Starting with he AFC North, Steve asks who will win it. Andy states that he like the Ravens to come out of that division. That is based on the track record of Flacco and Harbaugh working well together and they have the experience.
Dave likes the Bengals, who have two wins over the ravens his year and that may come into play down the road.
Going from the AFC North, Steve wants to take a look at the top two contenders in the AFC overall, which are Denver and New England.
At the beginning of the year the Broncos were favored by many to represent the AFC in the Title game, but now is it time to put New England in that top slot?
Andy almost wrote the Pats off after their loss to KC, but they have responded by going on a run and with the Denver loss the other day they have the inside track to grab homefield advantage. The Pats are known for exploiting a teams weakness and they did that vs the Colts, but may not be able to do the same thing vs Detroit. The Pats ran a tone vs the Colts, but it will be hard for them to do tat vs a more stout Detroit line.
For Denver the issues is with their WR corps, which is not healthy right now. Steve notes that what is more troubling is the fact that when Manning is under duress he is not all that good and that may pose problems for them in their upcoming game vs a very tough Miami pass rush, especially with a running game that is also banged up.
Could be a correlated parlay as if you like Miami then you should look under as well. Andy states that the game should handicap as an under play, but also has concerns that without a running game will Denver still try and run the ball enough that would take the necessary time off the clock for an under play.
Steve is struggling with this one. He may put the Pats at number 1 and he was impressed with their Beatdown of the Colts over the weekend.
