San Diego Chargers vs Miami Dolphins (-2.5, 45)
The Chargers are off 3 division matchups in a row and failed to cover in all three games. Now they go out to the east coast.
Mike McCoy is an excellent coach, but division teams have seen him before and now he is taking on a non-division team and has gone 12-3-1 ATS in those games as coach of San Diego. One of those failures was on this field last year, but still San Diego outplayed them in the game.
In a matchup of Rivers/ McCoy vs Tannehill/ Philbin, Dave would really be tempted in taking San Diego, especially if the line gets to 3.
The strength of the Miami defense is heir pass rush, but that may not work vs Rivers, who gets rid of the ball real quick. They can negate that pass rush and in a close game Dave will take a look at the Bolts.
Also not that the Chargers should have CB Flowers back for this one.
