Hi Pregamers,
Experience tells me that opportunity knocks at your front door during the first two games of the season. 'Pro or College, the chance to capitalize exists if you are astute enough to identify opportunity and not too afraid to back it up with $$$. I struck out on a big play on MSU (vs Oregon) and the 13 1/2 points. Such is life... the fact remains that the Spartans had a 9 point lead midway through the 3rd quarter (27-18) and had an opportunity to close the deal but it didn't happen. I'll live with the results because I still feel I was in the right place (based on handicapping).
What else can you ask as a 'capper? My goal (as a 'capper) is to put myself in a position to win. Only those drinking "Duck Koolaid" would challenge my position. It is what is is... I move on to the next "opportunity" without looking back and congratulate the Duck faithful on a mission accomplished.
It's a long season and I'm in it for the long haul. My track record suggests I will end up in the black when all is said and done...
Good Luck Handicappers!
