Odds on Cards closing out Tigers tonight?

Say it isn't so JD.............Tigers are in big trouble. Can Verlander out duel Weaver????? This Eckstein guy is killing us.

I sure hope so, the Tigers are posting to many E's on the scoreboard in key situations.  You cannot expect to win playing like that.  The relief pitchers forgot how to throw to the base. The Cardinals can almost taste victory and I am sure they really want to close it out at home.  However, as a baseball and Cardinals fan, I kind of want another piece of Kenny Rogers just to justify this situation one way or the other.  I obviously have no problems if we go ahead and close it out tonight though. Birds on bats baby.

The series was over after game #1. Cardinals (in my opinion) conceded game #1 to the Tigers by pitching the worst starter in the history of the World Series for a game #1. They than could go back home and have the studs pitch. With winning game one, St. Louis had their whole arsenal ready. The thing with Kenny had to be a damper on the momentum the Tigers had. Just like the A's shot their load speed bagging the Twins, Detroit blew their nut speed bagging the Yankees and A's.

Granted, I hope my Tigers come back. But at the same time they were predicted to finish below .500, so regardless of the outcome great season for Detroit and Leland should be Manager of the Year.

Tigers must win 3 in a row.

With Kenny on the hill tomorow... I like the possibilties.

But it's all about the rookie Verlander, tonight. If the Tigers take this game, I still think they can come back and win the series.
