I was looking at possibly depositing in an offshore book. After reading on this site it seems 5dimes is the most recommended site. While reading their deposit options (P2P) they mention something about getting blacklisted......
"5Dimes cannot be held liable for frozen funds due to black listing, for the black listing itself occurring, or for transactions placed on hold or under investigation by the international financial service provider."
Does anybody have anymore info on what this is? Thanks
One CS person told me that receiving is not a big deal in terms of sticking to those limits. I wouldn't put much stock in that though. Better to keep it low
You want a handicapping tip? Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a bitch, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more. I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice
"There is no such thing as luck, just random fluctuations of probability"
any help is appreciated. Thanks
I may be wrong, but I think this means if you get blacklisted or flagged by WU or MG, they can't help you and won't refund your money.
To avoid getting flagged or blacklisted, I have heard it's best to keep transactions under 1k and to do it in person and not online. I have only been using p2p for about a year so I'm not an expert. I'm sure other guys can give you more tips.
Once again, could be totally wrong, but I think thats what they mean. Could live chat with them and ask them to clarify. Anyway, I think you will be fine with 5dimes. BOL
You missed a key part of the sentence, FAILURE TO HAVE PROPER ID. What they are talking about is when you have already been barred from WU or MG and you send money under a fake name. You can send money under any name you want since they don't check ID when sending. The risk you face is that you spell the name incorrectly, or that they give you an incorrect name. What normally happens is you contact WU or MG and the transaction has to be done all over again. Before it's done all over again you have to show them an ID with the name of the person who sent the first transaction. If your name is "Jim Bob Cooter" and you put down "Sammy Salami", the fact that you dont have an ID that says "Sammy Salami" will make it impossible to recover the money and MG or WU will just keep it. That's why if you get blacklisted from either one, use a friend or family members name so that if there is a problem, you can use their ID to get it back.
Ok so why would a person get blacklisted I guess is my next question? Is it for not showing proper ID? Sorry Lloyd if that is what you were saying and I missed it. Just want to make sure before depositing. Thanks
WU and MG have to put a facade up like they actually care that people are using them to deposit into offshore accounts. Like the previous poster said, large deposits (especially when doing them online) will get you noticed. Keep them under $900 and try to rotate between the two
Thanks. So advice is P2P in person. Keep it under 900 and rotate between MG and WU? Thanks again Lloyd. Oh same advice for withdrawals?
