Just want to say up front that I don't see this as an issue that needs intervention right now, just really disappointed with the book in general and wanted that out there.

The reason I started using Bovada was they took visa(even if they charge a 4.9% fee) and it was a small deposit for one future(heat to win title 2-1). Won the bet, and made some more money. Then, wanted to withdraw.

Called and spoke to a customer service rep about getting a P2P payout. She said that can't be done, even if I paid the fees, because my past deposits have been made via credit card. Sounds ridiculous to me, but I will just assume that there is a good reason for that. Anyway, i request a free payout via check, the only possible way I can.

Requested it late July 1. It says it can take up to 48 hours to process. The morning of July 4th, I email in and ask why it's not processed yet. Then, an hour or so later, it is finally processed and out of my balance. At that time, I was told I'd get a tracking number when one is available. I emailed yesterday asking for one, and I get an email back saying that I will get one when its available. Still don't have one, which I have an issue with. A week later, free or not, I should have a tracking number.

I am still confident, although I'm not sure why, that I will get this payout, but it has just been really frustrating dealing with this book. They have given me one payout option, which is extremely slow and inconvenient. Their support answers quickly but rarely does anything. You can't buy points, unless you're buying the half point. From now on, I plan on sticking with 5dimes(betanysports in my case) and just bet as a secondary. Hope this helps people.

Ya-it was that way when they still had the Bodog brand--took me about 40 days to get $800--P2P wasnt an option either

No need to worry you'll get it, takes about a month.

I requested one today.  I'll post any meaningful developments.

They called me out of the blue about a month ago and offered a 40% free play.  The only rollover that I had to meet was based on my winnings on the free play.  The 4.9% is usually a deal breaker for me, but the bonus made up for it.  It raised an eyebrow for me, because they don't offer bonuses like that very often. It made me think they were scratching around for some money, based on some reports of slow payouts lately.  Time will tell.

Yeah, I just spent an hour looking over other forums...sounds like I will be lucky to get it before college football.lot of delayed payouts, cancelled payouts, and a check problems. I'm just hoping to get mine before august is over and that the Bank of America atm takes whatever check they give me.

From everything I've read, there is absolutely no reason to put any money into this book in the future.

I had a similar experience with Bodog.  I used a cc to make my deposit.  When I made the deposit they told me withdraws could be made by P2P, cc or check.  When I made my first withdraw they said the only method for withdraw was by check since I used a cc to make my deposit.  I had to fax them a copy of the cc I used as well as a copy of my ID.

It took a while to get the check, but I finally did.  I eventually withdrew all money from Bodog before they switched to Bovada because of the slow payout.

One sidenote.  They sent the check by Airborne.  Since no one would be home to sign for the delivery on the scheduled day of delivey, I called Airborne and asked them to hold the package and I would pick it  up at their location.  They failed to do so and tried  to deliver it anyway.  I then had to wait for the driver to return it to their location, and then go out there to pick it up.  It took them half an hour to dig through several bins to find my package.  Once they found it, the clerk gave me the third degree about what was inside since the package came from China.  I only told her it was paperwork for me to sign.  She said she knew it was a check and she asked if I played poker online.  I told her I do not, which I don't.  It really was bugging her what was in the envelope and how I was owed the money.

I have now switched books and use P2P for deposits and withdraws.  I don't want or need the attention of a nosey clerk asking a lot of questions.

They never made me fax any cc veri/id which makes me worried that a month from now they will ask for it, even though mines already been approved.anyway.

And thats the worst part about the check.I definitely dont pay bills betting sports so I have a job im at five days a week, weird i know, and i cant wait around at home to sign for a check. really surprised they asked you what was in the package. definitely seems like they shouldnt be able to.

I agree, astro, the clerk was just being nosey.  But she would not hand me the package until she asked some questions.  It was probably curiosity more than anything else, but it made me a little uncomfortable.  She had no right to know what was in the envelope or question me about the contents.  I was deliberately vague, but it appeared from former customers she had deduced that a check was inside.   Since she asked me if I played poker online, I figured that is what someone told her in the past about their envelope.

She said they handle a "lot of these," meaning envelopes from China, so I guess she was just curious. However, I had no idea who she might pass on any information to or where it might go, so I was very vague with my answers.  Finally after a few questions she handed me the envelope.

From that point on, I have used P2P for my deposits and withdraws.   It is faster, I don't have to be home to sign for a delivery, and don't have to deal with nosey clerks. The clerk at the check cashing store making minimum wage could not care less who I am sending money to or receiving it from.  And, by the next time I get a withdraw, she will not be working there.

Ironic that your signature says 'good things come to those who are patient'...ha.

and I made this deposit in april when the heat had lost 2 to the celtics and one to the bulls and their odds went up to 2-1, so your post from a weeks ago wouldn't have helped.

by the way, the last thing you said was that they had called you and talked you into making another deposit(unless i'm wrong), so i'm confused why you are ripping me on here?

And yeah, since having this problem, I've seen several complaints on this and other websites. They all make it sound like I will get my money in about 2 actual months, so I hope thats the case. When the 25 business days are up, I will still call their offices, file complaints, do whatever I can to speed it up. But yeah, won't ever use them again, even if I do get the money. It's too long to wait, and I'm too unsure it will happen. Really makes me appreciate 5dimes(betanysports for me) and just bet.
