If you just make straight bets on major sports and are not a line shopper then a reliable local is the way to go.  When you say -110 on everything, does that mean if the market has a total at 7 -130/+110, his will still be -110?  If so that's awesome

You want a handicapping tip?  Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a bitch, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more.  I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice

5Dimes is by far the best offshore book.  As far as locals are concerned, if you win a lot and bet large you WILL have a hard time keeping a local.  They will cut you off eventually.

Here is my ranking for what its worth:

1) Financial: Any of the A books on SBR

2) Speed of payouts: Alot of the B books have this (such as Betislands, Betonline, etc.)

3) Customer Service: Betislands, but beware alot of lower ranked books such as 1vice, easystreet and other D or C ranked books have excellent Custmer service, the problem is you just never know when it will disappear (picture a scene from the movie Boiler Room).

4) Reliability: Well I want say anyone is immune to this but Betislands has had in recent weeks alot ofr trouble, cant say I have heard of any down time for 5Dimes or Bookmaker recently

5) ease of deposit: Nowadays it seems like all require P2P. If not, they take VISA only with alot of ID verification and waiting time.  What happened to the good ol days of routing numbers and checking accounts ACH's? LOL

6) Lines/prices, Any book that offers dime lines in baseball/hockey is a good spot

7) Bonuses: Best bonuses usually come from SHIT books, but with that said occassionally you can catch a book with a 25% cash bonus with only a 3-5 x roll over, if you get that or better its pretty good. Usually is 10 to 12x roll over for a 80% to 150% free play instead of cash.

All this said, I play at Betislands, Betonline and 5 Dimes.  Just my .02 cents like I said.

Eff Bookmaker, takes too long to get a pyaout and they are some bureacratic SOB's.

Hope this helps bro.

Pretty good summation although I don't think I'd throw Betonline next to Betislands when talking about quick payouts

A lot depends on what you like to bet....What you bet on / How you bet.

5 Dimes is a good one.

One that is not talked about much is Intertops.com. I have been with them for years and their customer service is great. They have .10 baseball lines (which is big right now since it's baseball season). They offer all sports. Their payouts are very fast! Two years ago my car needed a big time break job. I had to withdraw money from Intertops to help pay for it and figured I was screwed for like a week. The money was in my account in a little over 24 hours. They have been around since 1996. I'm a US player as was able to use my bank debit card with them.

Good luck in your search!
