I just don't have any faith in there book.
I really don't think they will pay.
seriously how long should we wait for OUR $$ they take it VERY QUICK.
But my Friend I'm not ripping on you .
I just think the book is full of SHIT!!
good things come to those who are paitent
Got my tracking number tonight!20 business days after I requested the payout, 18 since it has been approved. I should receive it within 72 hours, which would complete the payout in under their 25 day time frame. Hopefully it all goes well.
Personally, with JB and 5dimes offering free monthly payouts much quicker than this, I can't see any reason to do any consistent betting on bovada. I will still check in on their futures while shopping for lines. For instance, they have some guys I like in the pga championship who are offered at higher odds. If its a difference in 5 or 10 units, it makes the long payout more worthwhile. But daily basketball and baseball, I will personally be going somewhere else.
Hope this helped anyone who read it. Will definitely post if something goes wrong with delivery or clearing of the check, but i'm hoping for the best.
I'll throw a little fuel on the Bovada fire. I've been with them for over 5 years and it just keeps getting worse. About a year ago, they bounced me a $1000 check. I ended up having to fax them copies of my bank records showing that the check bounced before they re-issued another check. (Like they couldn't figure out from their own records?) My bank charged me a $30 fee for the bad check, and rather than Bovada sending me $1030 they sent me another check for $1000 and put $30 into my sportsbook account. The check didn't bounce this time, but what a pain.
The last withdraw I made was over a month ago. It usually takes a day or two for them to even acknowlegde the request. In my opinion, I think they hope you piss it away in the meantime. Once they accecpt your request, they send a message saying it takes UP TO 25 BUSINESS DAYS for it to process. Mine took almost exactly 25 days. They used to say 15 days, but due to heavy volume it now takes longer. (i wonder if the heavy volume is most of their members cashing out their accounts and switching to another site).
Finally, they used to require an indirect signature. Then for a awhile they required no signature. Now, they require a direct signature. So someone has to be there to sign for it. Not very convenient for someone like me who works a normal job during the day and is not home at 11:00 am when the Fed Ex guy shows up.
I've tried multiple times to switch my payouts from courier check to western union, but thet keep telling me that since I make deposits with my Visa card, I can't switch. However, a friend of mine did it, but they keep telling me it can't be done.
I hope someone finds this information helpful. I would steer clear of Bovada if anyone is thinking of joining them.
I don't get using a credit card at a sportsbook EVER. Cash deposits and cash/check payouts only
What if a different book has your game getting higher odds/better line and you don't have time to do the cash transfer?
If it is a credit card and not debit card, and you use it at moneygram.com(i cant speak about western union)you will get charged cash advance fees by your CC company. Expensive.
I agree it is much easier to avoid using them, but its not that terrible. And there are times when it's a good option. I've got front/back pics of my credit/debit cards on a zip in a safe place, and can fill out and fax the CC auth form in less than ten minutes. So how awful is it?
For what it's worth, I have been hearing in other forums that Bovada's payouts have been very quick recently. This prompted me to check their website, and they are now quoting 5-10 business days by check. Idk if they are offering money transfers or other options, but a free payout in a two week time frame isn't bad at all.
Figured I would report the good stuff, along with the bad. Don't know what was going on with them, but they seem to have worked it out. Anyway, BOL to anyone using any book.
Bovada user I asked for a payout aug 12th got approved same day,U.P.S came with check today aug 28th.1,500 in hand tracking number came later that night...Well i got paid...Hope it helps..
I got paid twice $2,200 and $1,500 32 days for the 22 and 16 days for the 15..both checks.know problems.
I have no problem believing that. It seems they had a lot of issues with payouts from may-july, but have really gotten in straightened out since. They r now quoting a 5-10 business day wait for a free check, which is pretty good. I have seen no complaints on their payouts recently.I gather from other forums that sites typically do have slower payouts in the summer.that may be bullshit, but its what i heard.
I will be depositing with them by next weekend for football. Theyve got a 'survive the season' nfl bonus. bet 100 each week of the season and get a $250 cash(i believe, am confirming with them) bonus, 3x roll in sportsbook. so hopefully i go around at least 9-8 and the bonus pays off.
