It was just a few weeks ago where I was reading the odds for the Opening Day Card and couldn't believe it was the start of the 2017 MLB season. About a week ago now, the week 1 lines for the NFL season are up. It is still a few months until the start of the preseason, but is still a little mesmerizing that the odds for the start of the regular season are up, and with the draft in the next few days, you wonder where the time went. To tell the truth I'm still basking in the Patriots Super Bowl victory (they probably are too), it was one of the best championship games I have ever seen.
I just wanted to get some of your opinions on the lines posted, if you had time to analyze them yet. The one that really jumped out at me is the Packers -3.0, as they host Seattle in their season and home opener. For myself, I always tend to gear towards the money line at this price because it provides me with more insurance. Even though you are laying a little more vigorish, I don't mind, it's a price I am happy to lay. The money line price is usually -150 on this. I looked at the odds page for this site, as well as another, and found that -150 was still the consensus price at the books at Las Vegas. I just wanted to know if there is anybody here who has seen this price and what sports books are offering it. Also, tell me what you think of my Packers -150 money line pick. I appreciate that it is still too early to make the bet. Thank you and have a great evening.
