CBB SUNDAY 2/24/13 > WINNER

First, let me say, with perhaps the exception of one or two more games, today in CBB, the lines, in a overwhelming % of Sunday's games, is the toughest I've seen in many days. Its as if, the bookmakers discovered some "magic" key, to sharpen the lines for today, in the majority of games being played today in CBB. You will probably notice this, more particularly if you handicap daily. I did find one game, that while I'm not in "love" with it, do feel its worth a regular, 1 unit play.

TEMPLE - 1  >  WINNER 

My chief concern about Temple today is mostly situational, with a couple of general concerns. There is no doubt in my mind that Temple is a much better basketball team then Charlotte U. However, my chief concerns are that Temple just enjoyed a big win over La Salle in their last game, and now they must travel to Charlotte U., a team they already beat once this season. Can Temple forget about the La Salle victory and focus on Charlotte, with the memory of beating Charlotte once already this season? I think so. I must if I wagered on Temple - 1. Charlotte U. is dead last in the A-10 Conference in turnovers per possession. What a horrible stat to bear on your record. It simply destroys both the offense and hurts the defense, as it puts a constant strain on the defense to always be concerned about opponents fast breaking off errors. That is a tough problem to overcome. So tough, it makes me use Temple as my one and only selection in CBB today. I hate going against the revenge factor, particularly when my team is on the road, playing a team that they have beaten already this year. But Charlotte's major problem is so disruptive, and the spread is designed to force the public on Charlotte, I simply can't pass this opportunity up.
