Marco, I like the pick on the ISU Redbirds. Follow the $$$!! Great comment, "not bad teams, but teams playing bad", gives it a Charlie Starkist Tuna flavor. We don't want tunas with good taste....On the court, SIU is the shortest team in the MVC. No starter over 6'5. This creates a great opportunity for 6'9 ISU power forward Jackie Charmichael. SIU asst. coach Anthony Beane was on the Redbird staff last year and obviously knows the players well. His son, Anthony Jr. was released from his letter of intent to attend ISU so he could follow his father to SIU. He is an exciting freshman, scoring 10+ pts. per game, and may well be the MVC Freshman of the year. It will be a battle of desperation to get out or stay out of the MVC cellar. The Salukis are scrappy, but the Redbirds should peck away for more points in the paint and cover. Best of luck with your sensational run on Massacre's!!
