Been too long so I'm stepping back into the forum to provide my opinion on another Big Dance game. We've reached the sweet 16 and some intriguing match ups. It's been pretty weird here in Columbia Mo where people are still wandering about in a state of denial and shock over the Missouri Tigers. You try and try and tell people that there are no sure things and nothing is a lock. But people tend to hear what they want to hear. Everyone just assumed the Tigers would crush little Norfolk State and then move along to more serious business. It was almost funny, in a sick sort of way, to watch the herds of fans as Norfolk State took out Mizzou. Talk about denial, I think some of these folks will need some sort of therapy. Anyway, that's water well down the river at this point.
I'm going to advise a play on Wisconsin +3.5 squaring off against Syracuse. If you ask me the Orange dodged a major bullet last time out against the Kansas State Wildcats. The Cat's were blindsided at the tip off when they were informed shortly before the start that Samuels would be disqualified for the game. I know, Syracuse was short handed as well but they had also had some time to adjust, both mentally and game plan wise. This K-State team was not expecting this at all. Then in the very first half Rodney MacGruder rolls his ankle and is hampered severely the rest of the game. NO excuses but things fell into place nicely for Syracuse here. Even with all that in place they had to labor hard to get past Kansas State not pulling away until the very bitter end. Okay, they took care of business and that's the bottom line. Now they get a Wisconsin team that is, in my opinion, built to make this Syracuse team labor hard to the end. In my view the key to knocking off the Orange is to force them into a half court game and make them get creative on the offensive end, just not seeing that as a strength. Wisconsin is just built to give a team like Syracuse fits, they defend with the very best of them. On the other end of the floor the Badgers will grind away like they do and frustrate the living shit out of Syracuse by making it difficult for them to get anything going in the transition game. It won't be pretty, but effective. Typical Badger cage match roundball. I just think Syracuse would rather go to the dentist than deal with this Wisconsin team all night long. In the final analysis, I see this one very possibly going down to the final trip down the floor and will gladly take the Badgers and the points. I can easily see them getting the outright. Anyway, there it is.
My top release goes friday, it's my one & only Triple Star Big Dance Game of the Year. And yes, they usually win and without much drama. Best of luck guys. Enjoy the games!

With you on the Badgers Spartan, I think they win outright!
BOL this weekend!
Thanks guys, should be a solid winner. Syracuse shouldn't have gotten past Kansas State. Like I said in the write up, no personal feelings on this one at all. Just has the potential to be a match up night mare for the Orange. We'll see soon enough.
Yeah, this badger baskeTball team reminds me of the football team, just running the ball taking the time off the clock, just like the basketball team this team passes runs clock and gets a good shot off after 30 seconds
Like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
