Hook's Daily Demise on the Books 2/8

What's up friends? My daily thread is back. It's certainly been a long time coming, but it's finally here. For those that know me already, i used to put out as much work and info daily as pretty much anyone.

Well i'm back. And i want to thank JOHNNY DETROIT for being real with me on so many levels. I respect him a great deal, so thanks JD.

Each day i'll provide my own research in every sport i cap, which is pretty much everything. I'll answer whatever i can, and i'll contribute as much as i can. My health is to the point that i can do such a thing, and the motivation is there.

So any and all questions are welcome, as well as any thoughts and comments. Moving forward, i'll have the Daily Demise on the Books thread up very early each morning. As a former co host of TiSB, i realize people have plenty of questions regarding the daily card. I'll do what i can to help as much as possible. Again, those that know me know i have no problem giving out as much info as i can, even giving away my own paid plays at times.

As of now, GOLF AND MMA will still be posted for free with unit designations. So if you are interested in just that, you don't have to buy a single thing.

With regards to the NCAA Tournament and March in general, it's proven to be my best time of the season for CBB. I was in a very similar unit situation last year heading into Conference Tournament and March Madness time, and i went on a big run. I've always seen that time very well, and i will do the same this year.

My golf plays for this week at AT+T will be up within the next few hours. The work is done, i'm just looking at some last minute weather patters for Thursday. This is very important when you have 3 courses in rotation. I've played all 3, so those closest to the Ocean (Pebble) in Day 1 are actually at a major disadvantage. That DOES make a HUGE difference.

Just sayin.....

I'm sure we wont have a play in this conference tonight so... What are your thoughts on Umass? StBoni has struggled with teams that have are uptempo.

Having Hook in the forums each day is a GREAT THING for everyone. One of the guys here since the beginning and stood the test of time. A MUST READ each day!

haha Elijah83. I laugh because UMASS has given me fits all year. Just not a team i see clearly, even though i have very close ties to the AD. Does that really matter? Not really, obviously!

To me, this game is very confusing just seeing how the side is coming down while the total is going up. It kind of goes against our normal thinking of how this would occur. I would lean to Umass, but i just don't like the exact setup of this game. St Bonnies is more experienced, and they are coming off a bad loss. That's vital here because this team has only lost two in a row once this year. Again, i feel this is because of their coaching staff (which i respect immensely) as well as their overall experience. At the same time, UMASS has a big game this weekend against St. Louis. But the biggest reason of all i stayed away here is because of the free throw disparity. Not only are the Bonnies one of the best in all of D1 in free throw percentage, they also shoot alot of them.  So gun to my head, i actually lean to the Bonnies here. I think the best bet might be to wait until halftime my friend.....Best of luck!
