Figured I would start a thread discussing point spread head scratchers for tonight to get other people's thoughts. There are some if it looks to good to be true I should go the other way lines IMO.
1. Richmond up to 12.5 at most places. Richmond and Dayton are the best two teams in conference against spread overall in A10 and respectively as an away dog (Ric) and home fav (Dayton). Dayton already without Cunningham and maybe Davis tonight as well who were in top 5 scoring for Dayton. Both teams are almost even in points scored and allowed. Dayton a little better defensively at home like most teams. Sharp money seems to be taking Dayton.
2. JMU at 6.5 now down from 7. JMU plays great defense, giving up just under 60 points in last three games, ranked 65 in Div. 1, but offense is horrible ranked 327, barely getting to 60 points a game, many games have gone under as a result because they try to grind out games till the end and either win or lose by a few points. Have been decent in conference at 4-2 and should be 5-1, but blew game against Col. of Charleston last Thursday at end, but lead throughout. William and Mary is great offensively, especially at home, but suck on defense giving up close 75-78 points a game, rank 321 and 87 on average over last three. Also horrible against spread in conference with a -9.8 MOV. Most of money on JMU, but line has moved towards W&M.
3. Northeastern up to -9.5. Everything pretty much says NE, most of bets and money are on them, but look a little closer and you can see that they are not quite as good on the road. Delaware is 3-1 ATS at home covering the number by almost +7 in those 4 games, also are defensively much better at home, but they have given up almost 83 points over last three games, which is not good. Delaware did lose to UNC W at home early this season by 10, spread in that game was 14.5, not sure NE is as good as them especially on the road, NE also got blasted last weekend on the road at Towson.
