FWIW:::::: I was bored last night at work and decided to look a few things up. I'm not sure if this will help us with our capping of the games this weekend, but it can't hurt. Since 2009 their have been 12 games played at Lucas Oil Stadium. 2010 (Final Four)---- 2009,2013 & 2014 (Regional Finals)
My first thought with these games was to jump on the Unders. Thinking the bigger venue would make a big difference. Well, in those 12 games we had 6 Overs, 5 Unders and 1 Push. So much for that logic.
Of the 4 teams in the Final Four, the Badgers are the only team to never play there. The other 3 teams have all played in Regional Finals and Duke also played in a Final Four at Lucas Oil.
Records at Lucas Oil. Duke 3-1, Mich St. 2-2 & Kentucky 2-0. How much does this really matter? I don't know, like I said I was bored.lol
Most of these players weren't on any of these teams that played here before, except one or two that played for Mich St or Duke in 2013.
Now how about Kentucky? They just played here last year (Reg. Final). Beating Louisville & Michigan. They still have a few players on this years team from those games. Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee & the Harrison twins. I do think this may play a factor in the beginning of the game. I'm thinking the Kentucky 1st Half is a good play.
Please share any thoughts or info about the games. Later, I need some sleep.
