Big Game Odds will be joined by Matt Jacob from Vegas 7 Magazine to help break down tonight’s games.
West Virginia Mountaineers vs Kentucky Wildcats (13, 136.5)
This is the biggest spread of the 8 games this week.
Kentucky is among the top two teams in the country in both 2pt and 3pt defensive FG% efficiency, while West Virginia ranks 250th or worse in both 2 point and 3 point offensive efficiency.
Matt states that many have said that Cincy laid the blueprint to beating Kentucky, but how is that so? Kentucky didn't have a great game, but they still won by 13 and probably should have covered the spread in that game. They just have a way to turn it up at the right time. For West Virginia, they barely won vs Buffalo and their top player in terms of minutes played and scoring just just 6 foot 7 so their lack of height will hurt them in this one. West Virginia has been blown out a few times this year and if Matt has a play it would be on Kentucky and most likely the under.
Dave states that if ya have to play West Virginia then a first half play may be best. The press may affect Kentucky early and West Virginia will play with great intensity at the start.
