Johnny Avello is the Sportsbook director at the Wynn and joins the show to talks about the upcoming March Madness.
This is a big time of year for sure. Johnny has a prop up and that is Kentucky vs the Field, with the No being -120 and the yes is at even money and he has allot of money on the Cats to win the title as a future play.
He states that their are other teams that have a shot at taking down Kentucky, like the Dukes, Virginias or Arizonas of the CBB world.
He states that having the Cats this big a favorite is a good thing, but also states that there will be plenty of other games that have a shot at being great matchups. He isn't sure it is that wide open because of the Cats being big favorites, but also states that the tournament will be a good watch.
looking ahead, Johnny states that if the Cats were team meet a team like Wisconsin then they would be at most a 6 or 7 point favorite. Dave agrees and goes on to further say that it would probably be a final four matchup between the teams. He feels that the Cats could be beat in the Final 4, but not before. Dave feels a good Value play would be for Kentucky to make the Final 4.
Bottom line here may be that the Cats are the big favorites, while it seems that it is wide open among a dozen or so teams to join the Cats in the final 4. Anything can happen in the Big Dance and RJ personally likes the No on Johnny's prop bet of Kentucky vs the Field.
