STOP !. . Why tweak it.... Its not Broken
I've been using the same system for years, but I have to make subtle changes to it occasionally to adjust to the changes in college basketball from one year to the next -- like rule changes, officials' points of emphasis, new coaching trends, etc. As has been discussed in several Pregame threads this CBB season, the games seem to be, more than ever, over-coached. And the time left on the game clock when this over-coaching begins seems to have moved back to the point that teams with a substantial lead now start playing against the clock instead of the opposing team as early as midway through the second half.
This trend was leading to more backdoor beats than ever until I made a couple of minor changes to the numbers criteria I use to cap ... those numbers which determine whether a game is a play or a no-bet.
No worries! No major overhaul going on here.
