Far Real S,
"Leaning AZ" Line down to ARIZONA -9 at this rate
Torn on AZ at CU...& staying away
Last Sat here in Corvallis, CU looked like a different team (personality) than memory serves
Never seen them so out of sorts defensively
Askia Booker has been carrying too much of the load in this transitional year for Buffs
#1 PAC-12 (#3 National) in Possession % used
Losing Dinwiddie & Gordon early removed the guts of Boyle stylistic advantage
CU loves to crack glass & out FT-Teams to death
CU is playing unlike Boyle Team, in terms of team discipline & 'brass' that Buffs are known for
Buffs consistently allowing too much Defensive 'leakage' committing 15.5 T-Overs/Game over the last 6
AZ on road after admittedly winning very ugly, yet surviving a very taxing effort vs UCLA
Seem primed to drop the hammer on CU
To stay in the #1 Conference Seed they recaptured when UU lost at Oregon Sunday
AZ has reclaimed #1 spot in BOTH Conference Game Offensive & Defensive Proficiency
And have the utmost high regard for TJ McConnell's leadership & Defensive ability
Booker could be in for a repeat of last Saturday night
When Gary Payton II hounded, harassed & frustrated Askia Booker
Payton II blocked 4 Booker shots (SEVEN Blocked Shots all told)
Booker was held to 9 Points on 2-14 FG's
CU has also really struggled more & more on the Offensive end
Buffs average just 57.8 PPG over their last 6 Games
Conversely...Coors' can be a very challenging venue
Where the erratic Buffs handled short-handed Stanford in their last Home Game
If there is any game CU ought to get up for, it's these Cats
We all know Arizona is a savvy, well-coached team
However, can't help thinking the Cats are not only putting in 'work' for the 2nd Half of this Mountain Trip
AZ must be looking ahead to their Top-10 showdown/rematch
Saturday at 9:02 PM, EST in Salt Lake City vs Utah Utes
Goodfella used to say, 'Gun-to-Head'....
If I HAD to pull the trigger, yes I'd lean very slightly to AZ -10
Thanks for the Q!
