After a bad Saturday I have bounced back a little, going 7-3 the last 2 days. Let's build off of that today. BOL everyone. .
TOP PLAYS
3 UNIT PLAYS
Kansas State/ West Virginia Under 135: This is just too high an OU line for a Kansas State home game, as their home games this year have averaged just 124 ppg, while their last 28 home games have gone 20-8 to the under This is a team that will dictate the pace of play at home and I don't see the Mountaineers getting them into a running game here. West Virginia has averaged just 68.2 ppg on the road, while KSU has put up just 66.5 ppg at home. At the defensive end of the floor this year both teams have been solid, as West Virginia has allowed just 64.2 ppg overall and 63.2 ppg on the road, while the Wildcats have allowed just 62.6 ppg overall and 57.5 ppg at home. This will not be a run and gun team. KSU just won't get drawn into that type of game, especially with their Big 12 home games averaging just 115 ppg.
Baylor/ Oklahoma State Under 124: Gonna go with the big 12 double dip of Unders for my top plays tonight. Baylor football games are very high scoring, but their basketball games are not. Their games overall have averaged just 126.3 ppg, while their last 5 have put up just 126.8 ppg. Oklahoma State has not played a bunch of high scoring games this year either, especially at home, where their games have averaged just 128 ppg, including just 113.7 ppg in their 3 Big 12 home games so far. Baylor does average 65 ppg on the road, but the Cowboys have been very stingy at home, where they have allowed just 55.7 ppg so far. Oklahoma State was good on offense prior to the start of the Big 12 season, but in Big 12 play they have averaged just 61.3 ppg and Baylor has allowed just 61.8 ppg in their last 5. This game should be a grinder from start to finish.
BEST OF THE REST
Tennessee/ Arkansas Over 140.5: The Razorbacks at home where they will push tempo all game and I can see Tennessee getting caught up in that here, making this an Over play. These teams played a game in Tennessee back on January 13th and that game put up 143 points. Now they are playing in Arkansas, where their home games have averaged 158.4 ppg on the year so far. They have scored at least 78 points in each SEC home game (Regulation) and have scored 87.3 at home overall for the year. Tennessee is not a good offensive team, but they will be facing an Arkansas team that has allowed 71.1 ppg at home and 75.5 ppg (Regulation) in their 6 SEC games so far this year. I can see Tennessee scoring in the high 60s here, while the hogs should score in the high 70s. 78-69 sounds about right here.
