Murray St v.s Vandy...
I have watched both teams this year quite a few times and both have impressed me at some points. Vandy has played well pretty much all year long in the Sec, but when it comes to the tourney i just dont think they match up well and are one of those teams that just struggles in tourney play. They lost early in SEC tourney and two years ago as a # 4 seed they got smoked by Siena 83-62. Murray St is for REAL people. They have won 30 games this year and some people might say well there in a conferance that isnt that great. They are also a complete team not just 1 superstar as 4 starters score more than 10 pts per game and the 5th one averages 9.5 so they get scoring from everywhere guards,forwards etc.. Murray St not only won 30 games this year, but won by an average of 17 pts per game and also won 23 in a row at 1 point! They also won 13 games by over 20 pts v.s div 1 opponents. So this team wasnt just winning barley with there 30 wins they were destroying teams. The last time Murray St was in tourney 06 they almost shocked N.Carolina losing 69-65!! Murray St also leads the conf in scoring defense and offense the only other team to do that in the country is Kansas that is pretty damn good. Murray St is for Real and i think they go to Sweet 16 and hey even President Obama likes them in an upset!! Murray St + 3 GOM
