March Madness Contest ($250) - LEADERBOARD - lishy WINS!!

I have talked to RJ about this and we agreed on making a tournament for all pregame members to enjoy for march madness.  A slight twist over your typical bracket selection though, is that we will be using Sports Lines for each and every game!!  That means you will pick the games day by day rather than selecting the full bracket from day 1.  I will be posting the lines for all the games ahead of time and they will be the official lines that everyone uses.  The lines will be posted the night before or morning of the games.  As the tourney starts playing just night games, I may switch over to 'morning' lines...depends when the books give out their lines though.  RJ has agreed to offer a total of $250 Pregame Dollars to be given out for the winners of this contest.

This game will likely be different than most of you have played in terms of March Madness Brackets, but a true winner will surely be crowned after this event!  And on a side note, the tuesday play-in game will NOT count.

You can sign up and start playing at any time during the event, but only one entry per person!

The prizes will be as follows:

1st place overall (closest to 64 wins):  $100

2nd place overall:  $50

3rd place overall:  $25

Also, in the same contest, there will be a prize for the person who picks the most correct games starting with the Sweet 16.  So after the first weekend is over and the  Sweet 16 starts (3/25/2010), there will be an additional contest starting, but NOT a new contest.  Continue making selections as you normally would. 

The Winner from the sweet 16 till the end will win:  $40

Secone place from the 16 till the end will win: $20 

And lastly, there will be another contest for the first weekend of play, rounds 1 and 2.  The games played on March 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st will be totaled and that winner will get $15

The same person CAN win more than once.

Every game will count for 1 point in the first two weekends of play.

The Final Four games (april 3rd) will each be worth 2 points

and the National Championship game (april 5th) will be worth 5 points.

Selections must be made before the game tips off.  All Games Selected on any given day MUST be selected in the SAME post!!   If you want to make selections for the whole day, you must have your WHOLE post entered before the first game tips off for that day.  If you miss the first game, you can no longer select it, but can still make a post for the games which have yet to begin.

** There are two rounds {Sunday of Round 2 (3/21) and the National Champ. game (4/5)} where a TIE BREAKER may come in to play.  I will explain the rules and the tie breaker for those events on the same post as I give the sports line for that day's games **
