This one really stuck out to me when I saw it and I'm sure it did to every other "square" better. Everyone says it's hard to beat a team three times in one year. Going into a game like this I would much rather be the team that won the first two meetings than the one that lost them. I love defense and Temple is by far the better of the two teams ranking 1st in scoring defense at 58 ppg while RI ranks 7th at 71.7 ppg. Temple ranks 2 nd in field goal % defense at 38.5% while RI ranks 14th and last at 48.4%. Temple ranks 4th in 3pt fg % defense at 30.3% while RI ranks 12th at 36.4%. While we think of RI being a better offensive team because they average almost 8 points a game more than Temple, Temple is actually a more efficient offensive team. Temple ranks 2nd in fg% 45.7% while RI ranks 6th 43.7%. Temple ranks 3rd in 3pt fg% 35.9% while RI ranks 7th 32.6%. You can call me square but this has been the year of the square. I really like Vandy here in what is a semi-home game as it's in Nashville when we're pretty much just asking them to win the game.

This game is more of a gut feeling for me. I think Kansas brings their A game today and gets ready for the tournament with a resounding win. If they do bring their A game they won't have any trouble covering this number.

No golf. It's overcast with rain in the forecast and temp. in the 50's. In my younger days it wouldn't make any difference as I played in any kind of weather. Today I'm just a fair weather player. LOL
