Saturday CBB Plays

Yes, I think it is going to be that easy and I will bite the forbidden apple here.

URI getting only four is indeed begging you to take Temple, and I will. I don't want ot hear how hard it is to beat a team three times in a season---in another sport, maybe, but not CBB. This is as close to a home game for Temple and a road game for URI as a Tournament can get---and today the Rams bubble burts. I will go the well one more time. Plus a more rested Owls team after cruising yesterday against the URI team playing the third game.

OK, Duke was favored by 17 over Virginia and only 11 over Miami, who is not THAT much better (on paper). Beg me to take the Blue Devils after yesterday's wake-up call and I will. Third game for Miami in three days against two much more physical teams than Duke. Duke still "hanging on" to a number one seed with a marginal win yesterday and an Ohio State fortunate win. I know a lot of these coaches focus on the bigger picture rather than the Conference thing, but Duke does not want to go into the Big One playing without the intimidation factor.

The real suck part of all this is that I was away all day and played Minnesota andd Vermont but didn't get to share. FWIW I am playing :

Yes, one was Mike's free play but called it in from the golf course before I got home. Yes, I know the other goes against Oopies GOY. If I get time I'll post some later plays with analysis. It really sucks that I have had so many comittments the last two weeks. Not only was I not able to post stuff, but I actually had winners I didn't get to play---very frustrating. Well, GL to all tonight and sorry about the Blue Devils.

On WVU as well Dave...  I think 4 games in 4 nights would fatigue anyone no matter how big of a stage.  Look for the recent run of GTown's 50% shooting to come to an end tonight with an extended 1-3-1 from West Virginia.  Go Mountaineers!!!
