Mike Hook 3/10 Plays (PAID PLAY is LOADED)

Oakland came thru last night. Always fun to see the team you back punch their ticket to the Big Dance. Big card today, with some great West Coast college basketball. One game stands out more than any other in my opinion, and that will be the PAID PLAY.

Let's start with the early action. Of all the games that start before 5 eastern,i only have 2 premium leans:

MARQUETTE -4 St. Johns

AIR FORCE +1 Wyoming

If i end up playing Marquette, i'll let you know by NOON EASTERN.

Is line movement the only remaining factor in the Marquette game?

Nice nite Hook.. i took that Oak also.. i got away last nite wit that Big Sky Under winner.. Lookin into  Grambling st. &Miss vally st.. &maybe OKsie st. any thoughts. Gonna break down that UM/Weber st chipper also.

They sure did.  I have to admit, they worried me a little early on.  That first 6 minutes or so was shaky.  They kinda looked like a team that was consumed by the moment.  Glad they snapped out of it.  You nailed it.  They really were the better team.

Is line movement the only remaining factor in the Marquette game?

I admit, i really wanted to play this Marquette side, as i think they are in a good spot today to put up a big performance. But here's 2 reasons why i'm not making the play.

1. The total for this game is rather significant. The fact that this total has come down a full point despite heavy action on this over makes me nervous. There is little doubt that if this game is indeed played out to 125 points, that's playing right into what St. Johns is trying to do. This is terrible movement for anyone backing Marquette.

2. Refer to number 1.

I'm passing on Marquette. The last thing i'm going to do is to bet into an afternoon line that makes no sense.

that Grambling line is high when  i capped it last night, but i don't think i can trust them here.

I do like OK ST. as i think OKLAHOMA is DONE.....

In other Big East play, i can't help but lean to NOTRE DAME today. I talked about them on the TiSB show today with Dan Bebe and Vegas Runner. A lean to NOTRE DAME -1.5 as of now.....

be very, very careful backing this MD EASTERN SHORE team.

I know Coppin St. is terrible, but i leaned to them ever so slightly BEFORE the line change.

This is either a lean to COPPIN ST. or nothing at all in my opinion.

I'm not playing it, just sharing my thoughts!

you actually got me thinking, and  i remember earlier this week i promised everyone that i would stay away from pathetic offenses. My word means more to me than anything else, so i'm PASSING on this game as well.
