Brief Message From Spartan!

 I was hosting the live chat saturday afternoon when I lost my computer connection to pregame and I still have yet to get the service restored. Server issues with Centurylink, I wanted to explain because I just vanished during the game. I was having a discussion with DaveEssler and then next thing I know, it's lost. Frankly I am sitting in my wifes office right now to be able to post this. I cannot stick around but wanted to at least let people know what the hell is going on.

Also, just to be absolutely certain I address everything. Last week was the toughest I've endured since becoming a pregame pro, I even lost back to back triple stars. Close does not feed the bulldog. I lost. It was a tough week. I do not spin, make excuses or anythng like that and those familiar with me know that. I do always strike back. My record at the sports monitor has been consistent and solid. My triple star record is still 65% after 150 games.

Anyway guys, I've been involved with sports gambling since the 70's and it always has it's peaks and valleys. There are handicappers and customers who either admit to that, OR choose to lie about that. There is no middle ground. When you get roughed up, you pick yourself back up and keep working diligently, or quit. I've never been close to having to quit. 

I just wanted to be sure I managed to get onto here today because I felt it looked bad the way I dropped off during the chat. I've been promised the server issue will be resolved soon. Hope so because it's a pain going to my wifes office to do this.

I did have one release I got to RJ yesterday and he got it entered into the system for me and it did prevail with Northwestern. I do have one release in for tonight.

Sorry about your system problems...at least we know you didn't have a vein in your head burst open! I know that b2b losses have been the overall exception and not the rule with your work where Triple Star plays go but your concern speaks volumes as to your dedication as a pro. Hang in there, sir.

Rough stretches happen to everybody, the key is how you respond and knowing you I am certain you are about to go on one of those runs. Keep your head up and strike back Spartan. Good Luck.

Any one who does this full time goes through these rough streaches. The people that have been with you know it will turn around and sooner rather than later. Keep doing what you do and don't start second guessing yourself.

I wondered where the hell you went! I didn't think I said anything THAT offensive! No explanation neccessary for the down week or signing off on me (my wife does it all the time). So, with all this extra time you've had I would expect a few Triple Star winners.

Spartan you are a class act and one of if not the most honest guy in this racket, I've known you for several years and know that your work is quality. Winning everyday is unheard of but your long term results speak for themselves there is no need to apologize to anyone in this forum for what you have achieved. My suggestion for anyone that just jumped on board your plays is to keep following along, because you sir are a winner!

 To be brief.  Spartan, you're a standup guy, you've always been supportive as hell to me and i appreciate that very much.  No doubt I'm always on your side, and you could not be more correct when you say that bad stretches occur and the only difference between you and the norm is that you own up to it while others hide it.  Much respect to you!
