Steve Fezzik has become the face of Pregame and does many media appearances so I thought I would come up with some talking points he could use on the air that could help promote Pregame and the forums. They don't have to be followed word for word though they can be. Other pros who make media appearances can use them as well. This will help strengthen Pregame which will be good for all of us. I did my best to predict what types of questions a generic sports radio host would ask.
HOST: "Welcome back everyone. We are joined by sports betting expert and two time LVH champion Steve Fezzik. How are you Steve? What's going on in the sports betting world these days? I know our listeners are getting excited for March Madness."
FEZZIK: "Thank you for having me -host's name-, it's great to be here. Actually a good friend of mine/best friend DubV *pause for applause if host is familiar with the Pregame forums* bet Kansas to win the championship at 25 to 1 before the season started."
HOST: "Wow! How did he get such great odds? I thought Kansas was 5 to 1 to win the championship before the season started?"
FEZZIK: "You are correct. He follows the sport closely, especially recruiting, and he believed the consensus opinion that Andrew Wiggins would sign with Kentucky was wrong. He believed he would sign with either Kansas or Florida State so he made wagers on both teams. Shortly after Andrew Wiggins announced he would play for Kansas the odds dropped from 25 to 1 to 5 to 1."
HOST: "That is an incredible story. What a great example of thinking outside the box. I wonder if he shared his valuable insights with anyone else or was he the only one who benefited?"
FEZZIK: "That's the beauty of the Pregame forums. He shared his opinion with everyone before the announcement occurred. I know for a fact that legendary forum member Bruno Bets was able to get down on Kansas before the price changed."
HOST: "Terrific. So I guess we should all be rooting for Kansas now even if they aren't our favorite team?"
FEZZIK: "Correct, we should be. DubV had a futures bet on Auburn to win the college football championship this past season at 400-1 odds. This was especially impressive considering he is not an Auburn fan. As you know they fell just short. It was a soul crushing defeat for Dub. To be honest I'm not sure how emotionally/mentally stable he is. He really needs this. That being said even though I am a professional and have been doing this for years I sort of see DubV as a mentor. I have learned a lot from him and I like him equally as much as I do my goofball brother Andy."
HOST: "Thanks for joining us Fez, we are out of time. DubV...king of the futures."
FEZZIK: "King of the futures indeed! Thanks for having me."
