NCAA Basketball
Baylor at Kansas State (-1.5, 140.5) (8:15 pm ET, ESPNEWS)
They are using all the available TV networks tonight to broadcast this game on ESPNEWS. #19 ranked Baylor (17-6 SU, 5-11-1 ATS) and Kansas State (14-9 SU, 13-6-1 ATS) play a similar style of basketball as both teams like to play at a slow pace while playing solid half-court defense. Baylor won the first meeting 79-72 on their home court in double-overtime on January 20th, but the Bears failed to cover as an 8.5-point favorite. That game was tied at just 59 apiece at the end of regulation, so the fact it went Over the posted total of 140.5 was very misleading.
Kansas State is 11-2 SU at home, compared to just 1-6 SU in true road games, so expect a big effort from the Wildcats tonight. Kansas State has historically demonstrated an extreme home/road dichotomy in past years and it appears to be showing once again this season. The Wildcats have solid numbers at home where they are outscoring opponents 78-66 and out-shooting them 46.4% to 40.3% FG.
