Early on, this is another repetitive segment about the refs backing Duke so if you find that as old as I do skip forward as both offer some good analysis later in the segment. My View: If you believe the refs are so in Dukes back pocket, then accept it, handicap it that way, and use it to your advantage as I did. My Analysis: Duke was in foul trouble early. Okafor plays only 22 minutes because of foul trouble making Plumlee play 9 more minutes then he probably should have. Kaminsky plays 39 minutes with only 1 Foul? Rough some people up in the paint bro! He should have been taking it to the hole early and often and got to the line more but he plays too much outside of the paint for me. He's been money from the line in the tourney. Dekker, the chosen one by the media, 0-6 on 3's and 6-15 from the floor....that's not good enough. Wisky loves the long ball and when it goes bad, like a lot of college teams, things don't turn out well. This is usually been Duke's problem in past seasons, soft down low, hoping to win from the perimeter. Sometimes in big games you need a spark and that spark was Grayson Allen for Duke. Badgers didn't have that guy and pissed away a 9 point lead along with huge momentum. Anybody think Okafor is ready for the NBA? I don't, but most frosh are not so maybe that's a mute point. Mr. Thompson offered Wisky as his free pick but did not play the game. Scott Spreitzer offered it as a free pick but not sure if he was on the game. As always, a solid listen.
