Great show Ken & Dave. Really appreciate the coverage of the Jacks & Big Sky. It's a great conference. The Kent St. game was hard to beleive, and I was courtside. The altitude can affect you, even if it's just in your head. Devareaux Manley of Kent St was chatting it up with us courtside during the game. Just over four minutes into the game, he said to us "Man, I'm feelin' tired already, is that the altitude?" The cavernous Skydome in Flagstaff has suddenly become a hostile, tough enviroment. I've been going to NAU games for 14 years and have never seen it like last Friday.
Speaking of Las Vegas connections, I attend the games with my friend Robby Findlay, of the Findlay Auto Group. He lives here in Flagstaff, where Findlay has multiple dealerships. Robby played against Jack Murphy in High School when he attended Bishop Gorman. We'd love to keep Jack here for a long time, but as you know, and have pointed out, he's sooooooo connected in the College Hoops world. I'd like to think Kevin Kruger is the would be successor.
For tonight's game, I know NJIT can score. I don't see any way they can rebound with the likes of Len Springs, Jordyn Martin, Gaellen Bewernick and Q and newly energized Zach Reynolds. I've talked to these guys and they want to WIN this CIT. If we defend the perimeter, rebound and shoot relatively well, it could be a tough night for NJIT. Apologies to you brother in law!!
JOTINI GO JACKS!!!!!!
