The thread is awfully quiet today. My day, off had some time to kill so I took a look at a late west coast game so lets get to it. I will recommend a play on the Texas Rangers+150 (WINNER). Although the Rangers are struggling to find their offense, after only scoring six runs this past weekend they they still managed to take 2 of 3 from Seattle in Seattle. Its not to surprising (this lack of scoring) considering they had to face the likes of Iwakuma and King Felix. This is a team that can get it done on the road as they're 8-3 in their last 11 road games. Tonight are going with Rhp Colby Lewis (3-1 L5 rd) who has not had a quality start* in 11 games this season. Lewis 34, is on the comeback trail after having surgery last year, hes a crafty veteran with a mental toughness that he will need against a Oakland team that will try to knock him out early so they can feast on the bull pen. This is a big game for the Rangers as they need to stay within distance of the A's whom they trail by 8 games. But this will be an even bigger game for an aging veteran who has alot to prove not only to team but to his self. Good luck everybody Go Texas! Go Colby!
* Quality start: when pitcher reaches 6 innings and allows 3 or fewer earned runs in a game
i just learned that today lol!!!!!!
