I'm not a big Hockey guy, I absolutely love and respect the sport, but I do not follow the teams or players much at all. I've been watching casually throughout these playoffs and watched pretty much every game of the conference finals.
My thoughts for this up coming series are that the Kings are the better team, more offensive fire power and have better defense, and have a noticeable home ice advantage when playing at home, where the rangers at home doesnt seem to bother opponents as much as it should.
Hockey is crazy hard to predict, bc u win and lose based on a few lucky bounces some times. As an objective person I would probably have to say the Kings win this series and do so on the road, bc thats what they seem to always do.. so the logical thing for me is to say Kings in 6.
However, i'm from NYC, am on the Rangers bandwagon hard core (it's not as fun when ur not rooting for a team) and they have the best goalie in the league IMO between the pipes. Rangers have beaten some quality opponents to get here(so have the kings, I know) and have done it in improbable fasion after being down 3-1 to the high powered Penguins. The City is buzzing and Game 3 and 4 are going to be crazy.
I'm going with an ultimate homer pick and going to say the Rangers win the cup in 7 games
Now can any one that knows Hockey or anyone who has an opinion on this series tell me why I am right or wrong?
