I probably couldn't name more than 10 players in the league but I have been checking out the advanced stats and academic papers so I think there is a possibility this could be a success. Hurricanes at Panthers
The numbers tell me the Panthers are the slightly better team here so I like that we can get them at -116 at home. Wish I could give you more analysis. I mean I could but I would be faking it and I don't want to do that. As the season goes on though and I start to follow it closely hopefully I will be able to say more.

Devils at Islanders
I don't know how home dogs do in hockey but I think we have a good one here. I make the Devils slightly better than the Islanders but not enough to justify the price. I think we are getting value here on the Islanders at +105, possibly due to the public perception of these two teams, especially New Jersey's goalie Martin Brodeur.
