Friday, April 14 The first two days of Stanley Cup action are in the books. The results show: None of the eight games resulted in an over. The under went 6-0-2. No team scored more than three goals. Road teams are 5-3. So what now? I wouldn't lay more than $1.40 on a home team. The value clearly has been with the visitor. As much as I'd like to take home teams Montreal, Minnesota and Edmonton to bounce back today and even their respective series, I'm priced off all of them. What do you think? I'm thinking there could be more scoring now that the initial first game jitters/feeling out process has ended. I'm thinking the Capitals just can't be trusted. I'm thinking the price is going to be very good to take the Flames against the Ducks on Saturday even though Calgary has lost 28 straight times at Anaheim. There is one hockey total tonight that I like very much. I also have my first Triple Star baseball play going today. I am on a 14-6-2 run the past 11 days. As always, let us suffer no bad beats!

Good Info Stephen...Nice win on the Bruins
Two of my favourite bets are betting all game ones under, seems like we hit 5 or 6 every year.Teams usually play a feel out type of game with a defence first mentality and I find the goalies seem damn sharp this time of year.
Second favourite is betting the home teams in game two that lost the first game.I bet up to -150 any price higher I will pass or bet a regulation win bet on teams I really like.Sometimes parlaying a high priced team like say Chicago with your other picks is a cheaper way to bet (more risk)for the same return.
That was a big win for the Caps and I think they can relax and get on a roll.Flames are a good value but they get no lucky bounces in Anaheim.Love talking pucks.Have a great playoff!
Thanks for the opinions Jimmy. Good stuff as always from you.
Best of luck!
I think the Leafs confidence now is very high, and the Caps lost some last nite. Leafs showed they can go with the big bad Caps, and Babcock had em ready to play. Even though they lost, the mindset of both teams have changed. Wouldn't be surprised if the the Leafs go home with the series tied.
The Leafs are in a great position where little is expected of them. All the pressure is on the Caps.
