The Blackhawks are the Stanley Cup Champs after taking last night's game 2-0 in what the guys say was one of the best played hockey games of the year. Overall it was a good played series. Chicago was the slightly better team with the better goalie and it paid off for them.
The Blackhawks have now won their third cup in 6 years and can be considered a dynasty. Just making it to the finals 3 times in 6 years is impressive, but winning it 3 times is even more impressive.
Steve has to play contrarian as he feels to be considered a dynasty you have to be favored to win it every year. You can't be +700 going into the playoffs and end up wining it.
It may have been different had Bishop been healthy for the Lightning.
Steve states that you can't make money playing overs in game 6s and 7s, even when it is supposed to be wide open hockey like last night was.
Both teams had plenty of scoring chances, but the Blackhawks just came up with the goals while Tampa Bay could not.
